Overview

India being an agricultural country, farmers are dependent on monsoon. Due to the erratic nature of Indian monsoon, need of water is fulfilled by using ground water, which is their primary source f irrigation. About half a decade ago, open wells were used as the main source of water. UNICEF brought the idea of borewell in 1970's in India, and soon borewell replaced open wells. India has over 30 million borewell installations, about 75% of the borewels are used for agriculture and rest fulfils the domestic and commercial needs. Plastic column & casing pipes play a major role in the functioning and life of the borewells. The choice of borewell delivery pipes use can be a turning point in the functioning of the borewell. In recent times, plastic pipes took place of GI Pipes, since plastic pipes are widely known. After successful use of uPVC column pipes PRINCE PIPES & FITTINGS brought a new concept of 'column pipes' that is PP-R submersible delivery pipe. PRINCE PP-R submersible delivery pipes are manufactured using imported PP-R material using co-extrusion technique.

Prince PP-R Submersible Pipe

Prince PP-R Submersible Pipe are made up of 3 layers and manufactured by using co-extrusion technique. Inner and outer layers of the pipe are made up of conventional PP-R material and intermediate layer is made of Fiber filled PPR. The solid inner surface manufactured with antimicrobial, provides a smooth, continuous surface necessary for superior flow properties and freedom from bacterial growth, the middle layer provides strength as well as reduction in Linear thermal expansion.
